L'implantologia eseguita in chirurgia guidata è soggetta ad una illogica forma di carenza disciplinare, i manufatti chirurgici, le dime, sono prive di una chiara e uniforme legislatura.Ormai dopo una decina di anni dall'avvento commerciale di queste tecnologie informatiche applicative , e dopo 21 anni dalla nascita del RaySet ( 1991 certificato) , possiamo tristemente affermare che l'entropia legislativa è diffusa in tutti i paesi anche i più moderni.
Le aziende produttrici devono e possono implementare i sistemi di verifica e controllo a supervisione degli operatori , queste verifiche svolgono funzione di tutela del progetto chirurgico che il paziente riceve, impedendo che si possa lasciare "libera" la possibilità di azioni medico-legali nei confronti del clinico e del produttore stesso.

Verificare una dima significa dimostrare che il progetto virtuale nel computer è identico al progetto reale sul modello, dunque questo vuol dire che il sistema cartesiano del computer deve essere identico a quello ottenuto sul modello in laboratorio.

Iniziamo la procedura RaySet prendendo l'impronta mucostatica del paziente, su questa il centro Rayset prepara un progetto protesico con la ceratura diagnostica , convalidato il quale diventa una dima radiopaca. A questo punto il medico prova la dima in bocca al paziente valutando lui stesso la perfetta aderenza alle mucose od ai margini incisali degli elementi dentali residui. Inconsciamente abbiamo svolto la prima verifica. Se una dima radiopaca è perfettamente stabile in bocca significa che l'impronta del paziente è corretta e su questa sarà possibile generare serenamente una dima chirurgica senza imperfezioni nel suo alloggiamento in arcata.

Successivamente al progetto chirurgico il modello riceve gli analoghi tramite i dati Rayset trasmessi, posizione sui piani di 1, 2 , 3 ordine, più le angolazioni classiche ortodontiche Tip e Torque e la quota crestale ( immersione mucosa). Il tecnico RaySet ottiene dunque un modello già dotato di analoghi da gesso ma deve ancora iniziare a produrre la dima.
Prima di creare la dima il tecnico RaySet esegue il secondo test, la verifica del progetto chirurgico: gli assi di ogni analogo vengono prolungati di una precisa quantità, stampata sui dati Rayset trasmessi. Ogni asse è un impianto ed ogni impianto ha un sistema cartesiano isolato. Per superare la prova tutti gli assi devono intersecare il piano di calcolo, volutamente molto distante. L'eventuale errore verrà difatto amplificato per renderlo visibile e valutabile.

Only the surgical templates that pass this test will really produced, for the other one ,with an incorrect check, it will centralized on RaySet service center, which will evaluate the source, and we will remedy.
Each template produced will be delivered to own custom with a photo printed of verification check sheet duly signed and stamped by the laboratory RaySet. That document have forensic value.
Never use a template without checking out of a laboratory Rayset.

Abstract
Correct bracket placement should level both the marginal ridges and the occlusional plane. The authors describe the laboratory and clinical procedures of placing brackets in relation to the marginal ridge. The ray set is a device that allows each tooth to be dealt with an individual unit, virtually isolating it from the rest of the arch and analyzing its position in a 3-dimensional control system that determines the first-, second-, and third-order values, which the clinician needs or which must be written into the slots. The ray set makes it possible to develop and simplify bracket placement methods without a preliminary set-up, while taking an accurate reading of the marginal ridge to establish the height of slots. This procedure can be used with all multibracket techniques (vestibular and lingual) aiming to properly level the occlusal plane, thereby ensuring the correct final occlusion.

Abstract
PURPOSE:
Definitive restoration of missing tooth 25 in a single visit by positioning a tapered, immediately loaded implant, a titanium/zirconia abutment, and an all-ceramic crown.
MATERIALS AND METHODS:
Surgery was planned using a software application which processed CT scan images to obtain a 3-D virtual model. With these images, the crest height and axial orientation of the virtual implants can be reproduced from an implant analog on a working cost using the Ray-Set Implant Ready-to-Load transfer procedure developed on the Ray-Set device (Biaggini Medical Devices, La Spezia, Italy). A tapered Exaca CV implant with a diameter of 4.0 mm (Biaggini Medical Devices, La Spezia, Italy) was chosen for its primary stability, an essential prerequisite for immediate loading. The all-ceramic crown on the Exacta Z CAD abutment was designed and fabricated using a CAD/CAM system.
CONCLUSIONS:
Using a computerized method, a surgical treatment plan can be defined using a prosthetic approach to implant positioning and pre-construction of a mesostructure and superstructure for chairside insertion and immediate loading, requiring only a single surgical session to obtain an excellent functional and esthetic result with superior accuracy and long-term predictability.

I, Johnathan Boev, present you the Ray Set® for orthodontic procedures by Biaggini Medical Devices in the United States. I have more than four years experience to use Ray Set®’s applications for orthodontics, and guided implantology.
Dr. Piero Biaggini founded his company in 1969. It presented Ormco (orthodontics industry leader) in Italy. With his experience Dr. Biaggini created his approach for orthodontic treatmentand later to guided implantology and Exacta® implants.
Ray Set® for orthodontic procedures was the first to be designed by Dr. Piero Biaggini back 1989. Dr. Biaggini approach to orthodontic treatment was geometric rather medical. So Ray Set® is a geometric device, which has rulers to measure angles and distances.on the models (i.e. Andrews’ plane for each tooth in orthodontics and gum depth in guided implantology), which assists the users to place orthodontic brackets, and implant analoges.
Later in the beginning of 90s the guided implantology application was launched, which include modified Ray Set® for orthodontics and software for guided implantology created by Dr. Massimo Ivani (Medialab SFW. Ltd.). Both are applying for FDA and hopefully be available later in 2012 on the US market.
Exacta® is a dental implants system. It was launched in the beginning of 90s by Dr. Biaggini and his partners. Exacta® is a high quality and very durable dental implants perfectly adapted on the Ray Set® system for guided implantology. Exacta® implants are widely used in Europe powered with CE mark and it's dental cross system: The Ray Set® cross network.
There are more than 600 labs working on Ray Set® for orthodontics and guided implantology all over the world. Ray Set® provides its users with a fully personalized surgical stent for guided implantology and orthodontics preset of brackets for indirect bonding.
